Foreign currency exchange rates
Transactions made with your SimpledCard payment card in a currency other than euro, the card currency, are automatically converted to euro at the European Central Bank (ECB) conversion rate. The conversion rates are shown on the ECB website found. SimpledCard does not add any fees itself.
The exchange rate of a completed transaction can be found in the Card Management System (CMS): a full exchange rate report can be downloaded in your CMS.
If you choose to convert a transaction at the ATM or payment terminal itself, the conversion will be carried out by another party. A different exchange rate will then apply and additional fees may be charged by this party. They are obliged to inform you about this. The exchange rate is also not visible in the CMS in this case.
