SimpledCard is expanding its integrated debit card and expense management system with Adyen as a new debit card issuer.

We have been working with Adyen for more than a year to add them as a new payment card issuer and our internal pilot is almost complete.
All core features have now been successfully proven. Although some additional features will still be added, the first new passes are already available to be tested by customers. The next phase has thus begun and we will keep our customers informed as we go along.

SimpledCard has chosen to expand with Adyen's debit card issuance for the following reasons:
❯ Introducing a new payment card option - the combo card: the new card cleverly combines the advantages of Maestro point-of-sale acceptance and the additional functionality and acceptance of Mastercard cards. In light of the phase-out of the Maestro brand in the Netherlands, this offers our customers a seamless transition.
❯ Easier money transfers: transfers to the new principal balance will be easier for most customers because the corresponding bank accounts are here in the Netherlands.
❯ Enduring confidence: Adyen is a trusted name in the world of payment processing. With a European banking licence and established infrastructure, compliance to industry regulations and standards can be assured.
By the way, Adyen and SimpledCard share the same origins: they were both founded in Amsterdam.
