Innovative entrepreneurs compete every year for a place in the SME Innovation Top 100. And not without reason: research by the Chamber of Commerce among the companies that have featured in the Top 100 in recent years shows that innovation fuels growth. All Top 100 companies saw their profits increase, took on extra staff and became more active internationally. This makes a place in the SME Innovation Top 100 a good indicator of success.
As many as 300 entries
A panel of innovation experts made the selection from 300 entries for listing in the annual list. All nominations were judged on impact for the industry and society, originality, availability and realised sales and growth potential.
When will the results be announced?
In September, a jury chaired by Ruud Koornstra, will announce the exact ranking of each company in the Innovation Top 100. It will then also be clear which company will occupy the number 1 position in 2017 and can call itself the most innovative company in the Netherlands.
