Wondering how SimpledCard has been applied within Carmel College Foundation?

Carmel connects secondary schools across the Netherlands. The foundation provides a wide range of education at over 45 school locations. The schools provide practical education, vmbo, mavo, havo, vwo and gymnasium. In total, over 33,000 pupils are guided in their learning process by more than 4,300 employees.
Previously, advances were made to private accounts. “If a teacher went to Berlin with a group of students, for example, the teacher would indicate how much he or she thought he or she would need and we would transfer that to the relevant private account. After the excursion, we asked for a statement and the receipts were handed in to the school administration. Any surplus was returned to the school. It all went through teachers” private accounts. We very much wanted to get rid of that. We then started looking for an alternative."
Handling expenses takes much less time. The process is many times more efficient.
Now that Carmel College Foundation works with SimpledCard debit cards, teachers no longer need to use their private account for school. When an excursion or trip abroad is scheduled, the teacher is given a SimpledCard debit card with sufficient balance on it. Should the need arise, the balance can be topped up immediately during the excursion or trip. “The overview is designed to show at a glance where and how much has been withdrawn,” he says. Teachers return the pass after an excursion, claims can be entered directly via the app. The receipt is digitised and sent to the administration thanks to the app's photo option."
